Seville part 2

Back..in Seville

I'm back, to visit Ana for another weekend.
With Ana in Seville for more fried fish =)
This time, i'm able to get tickets for the Cathedral and Alcazar.
When i was last here in Summer, apparently so was the entire Europe! as there's no way to get into those 2 main tourist attraction in Seville.

I took a flight this time instead of the train. And I learned that Seville airport is small! What's funnier is the departure hall drop off point becomes parking lot for cars waiting for arrival passengers hahaha.

Interestingly, the departure hall becomes parking lot for arrival passengers after 9pm =)
Bright early on Sat AM, my first stop is the Seville Cathedral. There is an impressive gold altar that apparently used 3x more gold than necessary!
There's also Christopher Columbus's tomb, if they excavated the right body
(still uncertain there)

Columbus tomb.. maybe
The gold altar from the side, all lit up
After the Cathedral visit, we went for lunch at La Brunilo where Seville tapas once again do not disappoint, in price and quality!

Risotto, Foie & Pulpo
After that, i went inside the San Luis Catherdral with Ana and it's impressive!
St Luis Cathedral
Very pretty chapel in the St Luis cathedral
At night, we met Ana's friend for Abantal. It's the only restaurant in Seville that has a Michelin star. The restaurant name meant Apron in old Spanish. Another successful foodie experience =)

After dinner, we went for a gin&tonic and tried the pink strawberry Seville gin.
A G&T experience after dinner
We got rained out on Sunday and decide to stay home for a quiet day, after we eat out for lunch of course =) First is we stopped at the oldest bar in Seville for typical Seville spinach and croquettes, with this beautiful old counter that gets the tab written on it with chalk. It is super popular and got 3-deep within 15 mins of opening!

After that, we jaunted over to a modern restaurant for more tapas

On Monday, i made my way to Alcazar for the GOT Dorne experience!
Apparently Dorne scenes are shoot in Seville Alcazar
